The flag of Durazno, Uruguay, features a blue background with a prominent twelve-pointed star at its center, symbolizing the department's central position within the country. Surrounding this central star are eighteen smaller six-pointed stars arranged in a circle, representing the other eighteen departments of Uruguay. Within the central star, a lamp is depicted, signifying light, energy, and hope for the future.
